Christmas is Here: Are You Still at the Mall or Have You Come to the Manger?

Some Activities to Consider

 

  • Have the family enact the story as it is read.
  • Sing Happy Birthday, Jesus as part of grace or before dessert. (Especially nice if you serve a “birthday cake for Jesus.”)
  • Be present in the moment. “Now” is all the time any of us have.
  • Give the present of your presence to your family and friends.
  • Receive the present of God’s presence in your heart as you accept the gift of salvation from that tiny boy child.

Teach me, Jesus, all Your ways,

And You I’ll follow all my days.
